Revance Annouces Series D Financing
NEWARK, Calif. - January 4, 2010 - Revance Therapeutics, Inc. (“Revance”) today announced the first $25M closing of a $35 million Series D financing. The round was led by Essex Woodlands Health Ventures Fund VIII. The financing included returning investors participating at their full pro rata, Essex Woodlands Fund V, Vivo Ventures, Technology Partners, Shepherd Ventures, Palo Alto Investors, Bio*One Capital and Pac-Link Ventures. Medicis and Revance Announce Agreement for Development of Next-Gen Neurotoxin
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. and NEWARK, Calif.-July 28, 2009-Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation (NYSE:MRX) (Medicis) and Revance Therapeutics, Inc. (Revance) today announced that the companies have entered into a license agreement granting Medicis worldwide aesthetic and dermatological rights to Revance's novel, investigational, injectable botulinum toxin type A product (RT002) currently in pre-clinical studies.
